The All Stars Little League tournament team is a select group of players chosen from the regular season players to represent the league in competitive postseason tournament play. Players are selected based on skill, sportsmanship, teamwork, and commitment throughout the season. The All Stars experience gives players the opportunity to compete at a higher level while representing our league and community.

The District Tournament is the first level of the official Little League International Tournament. Our league will enter an All Star majors softball team, minors baseball team, and majors baseball team for the 2026 season.

This year, all majors softball players were eligible to continue on to the All Stars team.

All Star Baseball Selection Process

All Star Player Selection - minimum of 12 players

1. Each head coach (or co-coach team) nominates 3-5 players from their team.

   1. Include positions each player has played during this season

   2. Nominations must be submitted to the President in writing.

2. President compiles master list of nominees to each head coach (or co-coach team)

3. Head coaches rank players in desired order and submit to the President in writing.

4. A weighted score determines the final ranking.

   1. Example of calculation: In a list of 20 players, the coach’s #1 ranked player receives 20 points, #2 receives 19 points, #3 receives 18 points, ect. Points from all submitted rankings are combined to determine the player’s final score.

5. The top players will be automatically selected to the All Star team. 

   1. A league-wide email is sent to minors and majors baseball families letting them know the All Star team has been selected and they will receive a separate email if their player has been chosen. 

   2. Emails to selected families will only identify their individual player (not the team) and request confirmation of participation within 7 days. It is assumed all are participating until we are notified otherwise or the 7 days have passed.

   3. If a family declines participation, the next player in the rankings will be contacted.

All Star Coach Selection - 3 head coaches

1. A pool of candidates is created from interested head coaches whose personal schedules allow them to participate in practices and games.

2. If further selection is needed, all head coaches in the division will rank coach candidates in their designed order (e.g., same process as player selection).

   1. Send the ranked list to the President in writing.

3. The top 3 coaches are head coaches.

   1. Only head All Stars coaches are permitted in the dugout during All Star games.

   2. Non-head All Stars coaches who wish to participate may assist with practices, game warm-ups, pitch count, bookkeeping or other duties at the discretion of the head coaches.

Team Announcement

Team and coaching staff announcement will be announced at the end-of-season picnic. 

The teams may be announced earlier via email and social media, when possible.
